Introduction of the Research Group

Research group on microwave and high-speed Integrated circuits is led by  Prof. Xiaochun Li, who is a project leader of the National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars and winner of Morning Star Scholar, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. The group is affiliated with the High Speed Electronic System Design and Electromagnetic Compatibility, Key Laboratory of Ministry of Education, which director is Junfa Mao, member of the Chinese Academy of Science, and Center of Microwave and RF technology. The group focuses on research of high-speed interconnect technology, electromagnetic technology and superconducting technology. Research achievements of the group have been applied in industries, such as Huawei, Samsung, Cadence, Synopsys, and China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. The research group includes a member of the Chinese Academy of Science, a professor, an engineer, 3 PhD candidates, 7 master candidates, and 3 undergraduate students.

The group has conducted more than 30 projects, such as the National Program on Key Basic Research Project (973 Program), National High-tech R&D Program of China (863 Program), the National Pre-Research Fund, the National Natural Science Fund Instrument Major Project, the National Natural Science Foundation Innovation Group, the National Natural Fund Key Project and industry projects granted by Samsung, Huawei. The group focuses on the development of basic theoretical innovation to technological breakthroughs and engineering applications. The group earned the National Natural Science Award of China in 2004，the National Technology Invention Award of China in 2008 and the National Science and Technology Advancement Award of China in 2012. The group has published more than 400 academic papers, including more than 110 IEEE papers and 28 invention patents.
