In 1985 at the national university of defense technology bachelor of radiation physics, Chinese academy of sciences in 1988 experiment for master's degree in nuclear physics, electromagnetic field and microwave technology in Shanghai jiao tong university in 1992 professional doctorate, then stay to work up to now, 1994-1996 in the Chinese university of Hong Kong and the United States as a postdoctoral research at the university of California, Berkeley. He is now vice President and professor of Shanghai jiaotong university and director of the key laboratory (class B) of the ministry of education for high speed electronic system design and electromagnetic compatibility.
Jun-fa MAO long engaged in integrated circuit interconnection and packaging, microwave radio frequency circuit and system, electromagnetic compatibility in the areas of research, the signal integrity in high speed integrated circuit connection theory, the radio frequency electronic components and 3 d packaging technology, electronic system electromagnetic compatibility and protection, and so on has made the contribution to the systemic, electromagnetic fields theory development of microwave microelectronics. Presided over the national 973 program in these areas (chief), 863 program, national preparatory funds, the national natural fund instrument major projects, national natural science foundation innovation group, a key project of national nature fund and so on more than 10 national research projects. Pay attention to the basic theory of innovation and development to the technological breakthroughs and engineering applications, has won the second prize of national natural science (rank 2), second prize of national technological invention (rank 1) and the national scientific and technological progress second prize (rank 1), He Liang; hori science and technology innovation fund each one. More than 400 academic papers have been published, including more than 110 papers in IEEE journal and 28 patents of authorized inventions.
